- Work through a high volume of invoices
- Pay vendors - scheduling and preparing checks, invoicing, monitoring discounts, etc.
- Find discrepancies and resolve
- Maintain documentation and records
- Perform coding, reconciliations, check runs, journal entries
- Assist accounting manager with accounting duties as needed
- Manages a smaller group of team members responsible for accounts payable
- Assists team members in the determination of the appropriate process, policies and/or procedures to be used in the processing of accounts payable
Requirements:
- Over 5 years of comprehensive accounts payable experience,
- At least 2 years of customer service expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and evaluate team performance.
- Well-versed in resolving both technical and operational issues in accounts payable.
- Strong time-management skills in deadline-driven environments.
