Tax Compliance Manager

We are looking for a skilled Tax Compliance Manager to oversee a range of income tax responsibilities, including federal, state, and local compliance, tax planning, research, and audit support. This role will also involve responding to inquiries from tax authorities and providing guidance on income and franchise tax matters. Candidates with experience in partnership-focused tax compliance and provisions are highly desired.
Primary Responsibilities:

Managing income tax compliance processes at federal, state, and local levels.

Conducting tax research and planning activities to support business initiatives.

Handling correspondence with federal and state agencies regarding tax matters.

Supporting tax audits and ensuring timely responses to inquiries.

Analyzing and organizing data using tools like Excel, Oracle, and OneSource.

Assisting with provision work for consolidated reporting purposes.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA certification is preferred.

A minimum of five years of experience in corporate and partnership income tax compliance.

Provision experience is a strong plus.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and related technology tools for data analysis and reporting.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Effective communication skills for interacting with external partners and vendors.
Additional Details:
This position reports directly to the Senior Tax Director and plays a key role in partnership tax matters. The role offers a collaborative environment and opportunities to engage with physician partners and external stakeholders.
