Project Architect
Senior Architect- Architecture- Architectural Design- Registered Architect - Architectural Engineering
Our client, a multidisciplinary firm, is actively seeking to add a Project Architect or Sr. Project Architect to the organization due to growth. The Project Architect is responsible for overall project design and management under the direction and review by senior leadership. This includes application of a high degree of design and technical skills, building code compliance, project administration, schedule, cost, and quality control.

Responsibilities:
- Manage client relationship including proposal development, presentation, contract management, and client communication
- Involvement in the entire process from design phase to the end of construction managing project costs and scheduling
- Manage overall production of project design drawings and construction documents for commercial projects, multi-family residential, retail, hospitality, industrial, academic, institutional, corporate office, churches and more.
- Work in a collaborating team environment
- Ensure customer satisfaction by coordinating and monitoring service for quality performance
- Manage construction administration of projects including bidding, shop drawings, RFIs, and periodic on-site observation of work during construction to monitor compliance with construction documents
- Utilize understanding of building costs, and drivers of those costs, while managing the design process to produce a design representing a construction project that is within established cost parameters
- Responsible for the overall production of project design drawings and construction documents
- Ability to mentor and guide others in a team atmosphere
- Identify, trouble shoot and reconcile constructability issues when translating schematic designs to construction documents
- Coordinate with multiple disciplines to integrate engineering elements into unified designs
- Translate design drawings and renderings into a comprehensive set of construction documents
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture or a recognized branch of Architectural Engineering under a curriculum accredited by the NAAB and NCARB or related field
- Eight (8) or more years of Architectural firm experience
- Professional licensure as an architect is preferred, or actively pursuing licensure.
- Demonstrated architectural competence, both as an individual and as a leader in the team effort
- Proficient in architectural design software focusing on Revit, knowledge of AutoCAD, Enscape a plus
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction methods and detailing
- Ability to draft detailed plans and specifications accurately
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in writing and verbally on a one-to-one basis and in front of groups
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects at any given time
