A top accounting, tax, and advisory firm in the Lancaster area is looking to add a Tax Manager to join their team. This firm offers a supportive and flexible work environment, opportunities for personal and professional growth, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. N

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business leaders, owners, and executives to advise these organizations through tax compliance, tax accounting, and business transactions
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients
  • Prepare and review income tax returns - individuals, partnerships, etc. 
  • Perform tax compliance and assist with tax planning activities for a varied client portfolio
  • Perform tax and accounting responsibilities to set the organization up for success
  • Advise ownership on tax issues, bank loans, business transactions, etc. 

Qualifications:

  • At least 2+ years of recent public accounting experience focused on tax
  • CPA or Enrolled Agent is a plus
  • Positive attitude, good communication skills, and willingness to learn
  • Team player and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in tax preparation, research, and planning software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
