Legal Recruiter - Growing law firm - $115-125k
*This firm has 3 offices (Wilmington, DE, Philadelphia, PA & NYC) This role can be based out of either office.
*Prior/current law firm/legal industry experience is 100% required!
Our law firm client is seeking an experienced Legal Recruiter to lead all staff and non-partner legal recruiting for the firm. Additional human resources responsibilities will be included as well.
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recruiter to join our clients team. As a Recruiter, you will play a crucial role in identifying, attracting, and placing top legal talent with our clients firm. You will be responsible for managing the entire recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening candidates to negotiating offers and closing placements.
Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with law firm partners and hiring managers to understand their specific hiring needs and preferences.
- Candidate Sourcing: Utilize various sourcing channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals to identify qualified legal professionals.
- Candidate Screening and Evaluation: Conduct thorough screening interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
- Candidate Presentation: Prepare compelling candidate profiles and presentations to showcase the best fit for client requirements.
- Interview Coordination: Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Offer Negotiation: Negotiate compensation packages and other terms of employment with candidates and clients.
- Placement and Onboarding: Facilitate a smooth transition for successful candidates into new roles.
- Market Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, compensation benchmarks, and legal market dynamics.
- Business Development: Actively seek new business opportunities and expand the client base.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in legal recruitment or a related field.
- Strong understanding of the legal industry, including law firm structures and practice areas.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and recruiting software.
- A passion for building relationships and providing exceptional service.
