PURCHASING MANAGER - CONSTRUCTION
The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the purchasing process, from sourcing materials to negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships by using Key Performance Indicators that align with corporate goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, excellent negotiation skills, and a proven track record of driving cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and supplier performance.
Identify and source new suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and negotiate contracts and pricing terms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including construction, land, sales, and finance, to ensure alignment on project requirements and timelines.
Manage the procurement process from requisition to receipt of goods, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project scopes and schedules.
Monitor market trends and economic factors affecting material costs, and adjust purchasing strategies accordingly.
Analyze supplier performance and develop improvement plans to address quality, delivery, or cost issues.
Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities, contracts, and supplier information.
Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and regulatory requirements.
Salary: $90-100K
