Controls Engineer

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Automation Controls/Electronics Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in an automation industrial environment
- Advanced knowledge of PLC programming in structured text and ladder logic
- Experience with designing software controls for various industrial automated systems
- Proficiency in programming PLC-based systems across multiple platforms, including AB/Rockwell and Siemens
- Familiarity with designing industrial HMI/OIT panels using Factory Talk View Studio and Wonderware/InduSoft
- Working knowledge of AC/DC systems, VFDs, and motors
- Experience in designing electrical control systems using AutoCAD/SolidWorks Electric
- Ability to read and interpret pneumatic diagrams and create enclosure/panel layouts
- Strong understanding of UL/NEC standards for field wiring, panel wiring, and conduit
- Proven track record in providing startup support, system commissioning, and troubleshooting for automated machinery
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members and management
- Experience with technical writing and creating scope of work and user guides
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
