Civil Engineer – Design / Infrastructure Projects
Are you a self-motivated and innovative civil engineer looking for your next challenge? We are hiring a full-time Civil Engineer to join our team in Falls Church, VA. This is an exciting opportunity for a collaborative professional to contribute to a variety of infrastructure design projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare engineering designs, studies, and reports for a variety of infrastructure projects.
- Develop detailed design specifications, drawings, and cost estimates.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Utilize your creativity to find solutions for complex engineering challenges.
- Monitor design trends and best practices to ensure high-quality project outcomes.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to new team members.
- Participate in field inspections and client presentations when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
- EIT or Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- 5+ years of experience in civil design and engineering.
- Proficiency in using MicroStation or similar CAD software for developing plans and estimates.
- Experience working on projects within Virginia is a plus.
- Familiarity with Bentley OpenRoads Designer (ORD) for 3D modeling is a bonus but not required.
