Job Details:
Growing industry leader is seeking a GCP Data Pipeline Operations Lead for an immediate C2H opening after a long-term contract. The candidate should be able to be on-site 2-3X weekly.
Responsibilities:
- Lead production support for data pipelines on GCP, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Monitor and maintain pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize processes.
- Manage incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with offshore teams for seamless task handover and guidance.
- Communicate system health and incident updates to stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory standards.
- Participate in on-call rotations for 24/7 support.
Qualifications:
- Strong Python and SQL expertise with hands-on experience in GCP services (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow).
- Familiar with CI/CD tools (Git, Terraform) and cloud frameworks.
- Leadership experience in an onsite/offshore model.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and adaptability skills.
- GCP certification and knowledge of data warehousing or DevOps are a plus.
- Insurance domain experience and Guidewire Policy system knowledge preferred.
