Application/Sales Engineer
Are you a motivated, detail-oriented engineer with a passion for technical problem-solving and customer service? We are looking for an Application/Sales Engineer to join our growing manufacturing team. In this role, you will be the key technical liaison between our customers and internal teams, helping to develop custom-engineered solutions that meet unique project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gain expertise in the technical principles and fabrication techniques used in our custom-engineered products.
- Collaborate with customers to develop tailored strategies and provide accurate cost estimates.
- Build strong relationships with both internal teams (engineering, production) and customers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Translate complex technical information into clear, customer-friendly language and drawings.
- Coordinate with production and operations teams to ensure high-quality, timely delivery of products.
- Participate in marketing and sales initiatives, including client meetings and attending trade shows.
- Provide feedback to internal teams to assist with product development and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or a related technical field.
- Must have 1-2 years of experience working for a manufacturing company
- Ability to quickly learn and retain complex technical information.
- Experience in reading engineering drawings and understanding fabrication specifications.
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven customer service or sales experience, ideally in a technical or engineering-related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in using 3D modeling software, Excel, and other digital tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to evolving customer needs.
- Track record of achieving sales targets and meeting growth objectives.
