Construction Site Superintendent
Our client in the local area is actively seeking to add a construction Site Superintendent to the organization. Construction project experience including pharmaceutical, academic, healthcare, higher education, college campus work, etc. Projects are based in the New Jersey area, typically within 90 minutes or so of the Summit area.
Individuals with a four or more years of commercial /industrial construction experience in either a project engineer, assistant project manager or superintendent role that are looking for a field-based opportunity are urged to apply
- Supervise and manage day-to-day operations on the construction site
- Review work progress daily and ensure timely project delivery
- Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards
- Resolving onsite conflicts and handle any emergencies that may arise
- Communicate effectively with the project stakeholders and clients
- Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and site management
Requirements:
- Qualified individuals will ideally have four (4) or more years of commercial construction experience, (fit-out, new construction and retrofit/renovation projects)
- Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience
- Bachelor’s degree is a plus but not required (Engineering, Construction Management, building construction, Construction Science, Architecture, Architectural Engineering, etc.
- Proficient in MS Office and relevant software
- Site management safety training
