Shop Assistant / Office Manager
Metal Fabrication Company
Our metal fabrication company is seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our team as a Shop Assistant / Office Manager. This role will involve a combination of shop floor support, office administrative duties, and material ordering. This is an onsite 5 days / week position with flexibility.
Responsibilities:
Shop Floor Support:
Assist with various shop floor tasks, including material handling, equipment maintenance, and quality control.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Office Administration:
Handle invoicing and estimating processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Manage office supplies and equipment.
Order materials based on production schedules and inventory levels.
Provide general administrative support to the management team.
Customer Service:
Interact with customers and vendors in a professional and courteous manner.
Address customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in the metal fabrication industry is preferred but not required.
