Job Details:
Industrial Controls Engineer | Berks County Pennsylvania | $110,000 to $140,000 + Bonuses
In this permanent, in-plant position, you will support capital projects from concept to commissioning, process improvements through optimization of process controls and plant automation, and maintenance by directing and training of electrical technicians and trades people. Requirements:
- US Permanent Residency or Citizenship
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Seven (7) years' experience troubleshooting & programming Process Automation, e.g. Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs) & HMI heavy manufacturing operations.
- The ability to develop ladder logic or function block programs from scratch and optimize existing programs on Allen Bradley (Rockwell), Omron, Siemens, or ABB PLCs. Strong configuring and programming skills with HMI and industrial drives (VFDs, VSDs, AC/DC) is also needed.
- The ability to manage capital projects expanding operations, improving equipment reliability, and modernizing mill processes.
- Background in heavy process manufacturing environments such as chemical production, oil & gas refining, paper manufacturing, steel mills, power plants, or water treatment plants is very helpful
