Senior Project Engineer (E.I.T.) – Civil Engineering
We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our growing Civil Engineering Department. This is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to work on a diverse range of projects, including mixed-use developments, single-family subdivisions, commercial sites, and government facilities. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and preparation of site plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Perform calculations and write reports for stormwater management, storm drainage, and water quality treatment systems.
- Conduct site visits for analysis, data collection, monitoring, and soils testing for septic and stormwater systems.
- Work towards developing client relationships and interacting with community officials, consultants, and regulatory boards to present site plans.
- Support a learning environment for project engineers and other supervised employees, helping them advance in their careers.
- Progress toward obtaining a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Required Qualifications:
- BS degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in site design.
- Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) Certification.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Experience in stormwater design and performing related calculations.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and work on a variety of land use projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and HydroCAD.
