About the Role:
A dynamic company is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to support a range of investment systems, spearhead projects, and drive process improvement within our Technology team. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between multiple teams, ensuring smooth technology integration and application support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise between investment management, operations, accounting, and tech teams.
- Oversee and support business-specific applications.
- Develop and implement data management and reporting best practices.
- Create and maintain internal applications.
- Provide end-user training.
- Document requirements and perform workflow analysis.
- Collaborate on integration and custom solutions.
- Stay current with business systems and participate in professional development.
- Manage project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Establish strategic partnerships with vendors.
Qualifications:
- Experience in the financial services sector, particularly in areas such as fund operations or trade support.
- Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with database principles; experience with Snowflake is a bonus.
- A bachelor’s degree required.
- Hands-on experience with visualization tools like PowerBI and Tableau.
- Solid foundation in change management protocols.
- Extensive experience with investment management systems such as Markit EDM, Bloomberg, etc.
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication across various levels of the organization.
- Proven track record in project management; certification would be beneficial.
- Expertise in documenting business requirements and conducting workflow analysis.
