Are you a corporate paralegal with at least 5 years of experience looking for a new opportunity? Our Kansas City office is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Corporate and Transactional Practice, focusing on Mergers and Acquisitions. As part of our team, you'll have the chance to work on exciting and challenging projects while enjoying a supportive and collaborative work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Transactional work, including creation and maintenance of Virtual Data Rooms, signature packets, and closing binders
- Perform lien searches and assist with due diligence
- Prepare state and local filings
- Draft corporate formation documents
- Research corporate entities and obtain documents online
- Research state and local statutes
Qualifications:
- Paralegal Certificate
- Comprehensive knowledge of corporate practice
- Strong analytic and research skills
- Motivated self-starter with excellent organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft programs (Word, Outlook)
- Familiarity with virtual data rooms and corporate practice-related software tools
