Job Details:
My client is a nationally recognized and award winning MEP Consulting Engineer. They are actively seeking a Senior Plumbing Engineer or Designer.
Experience
- 3+ years of plumbing engineering design experience preferably with large institutional or commercial projects from schematic design through construction administration.
- A four-year engineering degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience is preferred but is not required.
Responsibilities
- Experience with calculations, design, layout and specifications of commercial and institutional plumbing systems.
- Good working knowledge of the International Plumbing Code.
- Strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively within an AE environment as an effective member of multi-discipline project teams.
- Ability to successfully handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment with minimal oversight.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to provide strict attention to detail and be a good troubleshooter and problem solver who works well under pressure with a can-do attitude.
Required Skills and Software Proficiencies
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment to meet specific deadlines
- A good working knowledge of REVIT is preferred.
- Microsoft Office Suite
