Refrigeration Service Technician

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, planned service, and emergency repairs independently or with apprentice assistance
- Complete service reports and provide follow-up recommendations
- Troubleshoot and repair refrigeration systems and equipment
- Utilize tablet-based service ticket software for daily tasks
- Communicate effectively with team members to resolve customer issues in a timely manner
- Maintain proper licenses and certifications
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with clients
- Other duties as assigned by service leads and managers
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:
- High School Diploma
- Technical/trade school certificate in refrigeration, with advanced education preferred
- OEM training for equipment start-up and service
- CO2 refrigeration experience desired
- Excellent customer service skills and a desire to learn and grow in the refrigeration field
- Ability to travel up to 90% locally with a company vehicle
- EPA and OSHA certifications required, with additional training provided
- Valid driver's license
