Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Reporting Manager to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations, with a strong background in utilizing Oracle Financials. This role will play a crucial part in overseeing the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other relevant guidelines. This person reports to the Director.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the preparation and distribution of accurate and timely financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and other ad-hoc reports as required.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other applicable financial standards and regulations.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, including review and analysis of financial data.
- Coordinate and collaborate with internal stakeholders, including accounting, tax, and audit teams, to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Utilize Oracle Financials to maintain financial records and streamline reporting processes.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to senior management to support decision-making and strategic initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics, identifying trends and recommending improvements.
- Develop and maintain documentation of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Lead and mentor a team of financial reporting professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
- Proven experience (4 yrs) in Financial Reporting or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Experience working with Oracle Financials.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications.
