Software Engineer - Java Microservices

***ONSITE POSITION***

As a Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying mission-critical microservices applications built with Java and Spring. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance, scalable solutions that meet the rigorous demands of the financial industry.

• Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable and reliable microservices using Java and Spring Framework.
• Leverage your expertise in SQL, NoSQL (Cassandra), and distributed caching solutions (Ignite) to manage complex data models.
• Implement robust REST APIs to facilitate communication between microservices and external systems.
• Integrate event-driven architecture utilizing Apache Kafka for real-time data processing.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices. (Bonus points for experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Azure DevOps!)

Bonus points if you have:

• Full-stack development experience with React or Angular
• Experience in Cloud and DevOps methodologies (Kubernetes, Docker, Azure DevOps, etc.)
• A passion for building high-quality, well-documented code

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Java and Spring Framework
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (Cassandra preferred)
• Excellent understanding of microservices architecture and REST APIs
• Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• US Citizenship or Green Card (we are unable to sponsor visas or transfer H1Bs)
