Job Details:
Civil Engineer, EIT or PE
• Assist in the planning, design, permitting, and execution of civil engineering projects, including site development, construction, and land redevelopment projects.
• Collaborate with the project manager and team members to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and data analysis to support project decision-making.
• Prepare engineering design drawings, specifications, and calculations, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
• Assist in the procurement process by preparing bid documents, evaluating contractor proposals, and making recommendations.
• Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective project implementation.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering, or a related field.
• EIT or Professional Engineer is preferred
• 5 years of experience working on civil engineering projects, preferably in a project engineer role.
• Solid understanding of civil/environmental engineering principles, codes, and standards.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant engineering software tools (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Carlson, HydroCAD, etc.).
