Roadway Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a team of engineers on the planning and design of transportation projects
- Design horizontal and vertical alignments, develop roadway plans and profiles, and evaluate roadside elements
- Prepare construction plans, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred
- 5+ years of relevant experience in roadway engineering, preferably with VDOT
- Proficiency in design software tools such as MicroStation, OpenRoads, and AutoCAD
- Strong communication and organizational skills
