Senior Highway Engineer
Join Our Growing Team as a Senior Highway Engineer!
We are currently seeking a talented Senior Highway Engineer to join our expanding Jacksonville, FL office. This position will play a key role in growing our presence in the Florida market and supporting our design disciplines. You will lead roadway design and plans production for various highway projects, work closely with clients, and mentor junior staff. Our projects range from small-scale intersection improvements to large, complex interchanges, and we also offer design-build and owner's representative services.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in highway design
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Master's degree or other advanced degree preferred
- P.E. registered in the state of Florida or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Strong knowledge of FDOT standards, specifications, policies, and procedures
- Experience with design software tools such as MicroStation, Geopak, InRoads, OpenRoads, and AutoCAD
- Experience with Alternative Delivery projects (Design-Build, P3, etc.) a plus
- Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
- Willingness to travel to project sites, company offices, and client meetings
- Positive attitude and collaborative mindset
- Openness to learning and utilizing new technologies and approaches
