Controls Technician
Join a dynamic and growing team in the HVAC industry! We are seeking an experienced and skilled Low Voltage Wiring Technician to join our team. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of light commercial systems, including BAS/DDC control systems, package units, split systems, VRF systems, and VAV systems. You will also have the chance to advance your career through our apprenticeship program and ongoing training opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of previous HVAC experience
- Familiarity with BAS/DDC control systems, package units, split systems, VRF systems, and VAV systems
- Experience with installation of conduit and low voltage wiring
- Familiarity with IP network installation
- Experience with BAS/DDC wire terminations and point-to-point checkout
- Ability to read blueprints and wiring schematics
Required Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized job site and company vehicle
- Professional appearance and attitude at all times
- Ability to work independently or as a team
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks in a timely manner
- Willingness to work occasional evenings, weekends, and staggered shifts as needed
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to travel for work
- Ability to work in varying temperatures
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Comfortable working on ladders and lifts
- Must come to work prepared with proper tools and attire
- Desire to advance in career through apprenticeship program and on-the-job training
