Overview:

Role:

Liberty Personnel Services in currently working with an integrated financial advisory and investment firm that focuses on small to middle market business owners to help assist in their search for a Senior Advisory / Audit Manager.

This is a newly created position due to a major up kick in growth and expanding clientele portfolio. This person will be leading accounting deliverables (not full blow audits) for these private business owners. This would include accounting preparations needs, compilations, and reviews. This person will support the Managing Partner by helping sign off on financials, financial statements, reporting, etc. At the same time, you'll be providing advice to the clientele acting as a mini-CFO on the company financials, company restructurings, chart of accounts, budgeting and forecasting, assisting with transactions, etc. This is a critical need for the organization's continued growth!

Responsibilities: 

  • Act as a mini-CFO or mini-CAO for multi-million dollar clientele across a broad range of industries
  • Integrate within the businesses to understand their operations, projects, processes, business objectives, etc. 
  • Manage engagement deliverables, sign off on financials
  • Work with privately held business owners/leadership on the full spectrum of advisory and accounting services - succession planning, preparation for sale, acquisitions, integrations, divestitures, M&A, etc. 
  • Advise on company financials, company restructurings, chart of accounts, budgeting and forecasting, assisting with transactions, etc.
  • Offer strategic planning, work through complex problems, address client needs, etc. 
  • Manager small and large teams
  • Train, develop, and mentor staff

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • 7+ years of prior public accounting / advisory or progressive corporate accounting experience.
  • Prior experience in audit is preferred
  • Prior experience with compilations and reviews
  • Ability to interact with all levels of professionals both internally and externally
  • CPA is required
