Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required. Technical degree in Industrial Electrical, Controls, or Automation-based fields strongly preferred.
- 4-5 years of related experience and/or training required. Candidates with less experience may be considered for a lesser role with potential for advancement.
- Experience with electrical distribution systems and wiring up to 480V required.
- Experience with Siemens 505 or S7 PLCs, Siemens AC Vector Drives, and/or Wonderware preferred.
- Knowledge of database and word processing software, experience with SAP or other CMMS a plus.
- Certified or able to become certified to operate powered industrial vehicles such as forklifts and man/personnel lifts.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Work may be performed both indoors and outdoors.
- May be exposed to moving mechanical systems and energized electrical systems.
- Must be able to climb stairs and ladders, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop.
- May be exposed to fumes, odors, and airborne particles.
- Must be able to wear necessary PPE, including a respirator if required.
- Must be able to work in loud environments and wear hearing protection.
