Role:
The collection manager will be responsible for managing the collection of outstanding or delinquent debts on behalf of their clients. They work closely with legal teams and debtors to ensure the recovery of funds in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Responsibilities include:
- Handle the legal aspects of debt collection procedures, including initiating legal actions against debtors, such as filing lawsuits and obtaining judgments.
- Review and analyze debt portfolio to determine the most appropriate legal actions based on the debtor's situation.
- Collaborate with attorneys to draft legal documents, including demand letters, complaints, and settlement agreements.
- Conduct legal research to stay updated on debt collection laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Economics preferred.
- 5+ Years of collection experience within Law Firm or Financial Services required.
- Knowledge of Elite system and billing/collection procedures
