Civil Engineer Land Development
Project Engineer (Civil Engineer) - Land Development
Join a dynamic and growing engineering firm with a strong focus on community partnerships. We are seeking a talented Project Engineer to join our team and work on exciting residential land development projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Manager or Senior Project Manager in producing project plans, specifications and cost estimates
- Develop design alternatives and compare key parameters
- Use computer-assisted engineering and design software
- Prepare technical reports and engineering studies
- Direct the work of engineering technicians
- Provide leadership to achieve our vision of becoming the most respected engineering firm in Texas
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) designation in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- 5+ years of experience in civil design
- Familiarity with engineering principles, techniques, and procedures
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Office
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work Monday-Friday with occasional overtime
