Maintenance Technician

Job Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints, technical manuals and engineering specifications to maintain and fix equipment.
- Diagnostic testing of pumps, compressors, conveyors, screws and other large industrial machinery.
- Complete routine maintenance tasks on equipment and perform daily site-walks to ensure visual health
- Identify and procure necessary spare parts and consumables
- Provide support to Maintenance Technicians to further develop their skills
- Maintain records of spare parts and equipment availability
- Dismantle equipment as needed and use various tools and instruments for inspection and measurement
- Follow safety procedures and assist with fabrication and maintenance work on site
- Keep work area clean and free of hazards
- Contribute to team effort and serve as a backup operator when needed
- Flexibility to work longer hours, weekends, and overtime as necessary

Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Training in a licensed trade preferred
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
- Ability to become certified in mobile crane, lift, and forklift operations

Technical Skills:
- Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, and engineering specifications
- Identify necessary tools and equipment for maintenance and repair work
- Perform basic diagnostic testing on large industrial machinery
- Dismantle and reassemble machines using hand tools, cranes, and hoists
- Basic pipefitting skills
- Record maintenance and repair work using CMMS system
- Capable of leading contract mechanical work activities
- Welding experience a plus
