Structural Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed engineering calculations and designs for access systems, with a focus on suspended and supported platform designs and environmental containment projects
- Prepare drawing submittals using Revit and AutoCAD, and utilize engineering software such as STAAD, RISA, TEDDS, and more
- Collaborate with other application engineers to provide technical support for branch customers and gain expertise in our product offerings
- Monitor work schedule to ensure timely completion of projects
- Follow company design guidelines and standards
- Provide technical assistance to branches and project sites, including site visits
- Leverage engineering CAD and PDM management tools effectively
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols in the work environment
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering or equivalent
- 4+ years of experience in engineering field
- Proficiency in 3D AutoCAD with Revit preferred
- FE exam (EIT status) preferred, with plans to take the PE exam within 1 year
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Motivated to learn and work in the construction industry
- Creative problem-solving abilities in a collaborative team environment
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50lbs
