Electrical Controls Technician
ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Project-oriented work on multiple projects at various stages
-Wiring and labeling control panels
-Programming motors and VFDs
-Running tests on equipment
-Troubleshooting problems
-Working on AC and DC systems up to 600 volts
-Using electrical meters and oscilloscopes for component analysis
-Basic mechanical repair
-Comprehending blueprints and technical text
-Installing and testing control and distribution apparatus
-System startups and troubleshooting
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
-High school diploma or equivalent
-2 years of experience or 2-year technical degree in related field
-Ability to lift up to 75lbs
-Knowledge of electrical theory, AC/DC systems, and wiring concepts
-Working knowledge of VFDs and motors
-Familiarity with automation systems and components
