Application Engineer Wanted - Join Our Innovative Team!

Are you passionate about designing and implementing new technologies? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment? Look no further! Our company is seeking an experienced Application Engineer to join our dynamic team.

As an Application Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams and provide design specifications, project management, and exceptional customer service. You will also have the chance to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and improve our application design and quoting processes.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure successful project delivery
- Stay current with new technologies to enhance application design and quoting time
- Maintain project schedules and meet delivery deadlines
- Assist in developing and implementing RFQ standards and procedures
- Provide cost estimates for project layouts
- Design and review initial concept layouts with customers and sales team
- Fill in as Project Manager when needed
- Create 2D layouts using AutoCAD
- Review customer specifications and provide solutions
- Assist in yield calculations and project documentation
- Conduct project kick-off meetings with Engineering and Controls team
- Support sales team with technical sales visits and project reviews
- Ability to travel to client sites when necessary
- Hold weekly meetings with sales team to review project status
- Review updates and concerns in SmartSheet with sales team

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering with 2-5 years of experience
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and job costing/estimating
- Strong mechanical aptitude/technical inclination
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Solidworks 3D a plus

Desired Skills:
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Interpret engineered plans and specifications
- Flexibility to work overtime/weekends as needed
- Attention to detail and strong project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional attitude and strong communication skills
