Network Administrator/Engineer – Cisco
Hybrid – 3 days onsite
Our client in Wilmington, DE is seeking a Network Administrator to work a fulltime, permanent role in their Wilmington, DE or Bear, DE offices.
Please note, you must live in PA, DE or Maryland. New Jersey residents can not be considered. You must also be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
Responsibilities
- Fully support, configure, maintain and upgrade networks and in house servers
- Install and integrate new server hardware and applications
- Keep an eye out for needed updates
- Support and administer third-party applications
- Ensure network security and connectivity
- Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses
- Set up user accounts, permissions and passwords
- Resolve problems reported by end user
- Define network policies and procedures
- Specify system requirements and design solutions
- Research and make recommendations on server system administration
Qualifications
- Must have at least 3 years of experience in IT Networking
- Experience maintaining and implementing CISCO Routers and Switches
- Understanding of PaloAlto Firewalls
- Strong knowledge of CISCO equipment including IOS, Meraki and Platforms
- Cisco ASA Management and understanding of Security Best Practices
- At least 3 years of working in a virtual environment, preferably Azure
- Knowledge of Networking Protocols
- Certifications CCNA, CCNP, PCNSA, PCNSE
- Bachelor’s Degree or at least 5 years of experience
- Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
