Junior Controls Engineer

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
- 0-5 years of experience in controls systems design, commissioning, and troubleshooting
- Competency with industrial control systems and networks, including Rockwell, Square D, Siemens, and ControlNet, DeviceNet, Modbus, Profibus, and Ethernet
- Experience with field installation supervision and subcontractor management
Responsibilities:
- Participate in electrical control design and commissioning
- Follow company standards in electrical controls design, PLC programming, and commissioning
- Understand project schedule, objectives, and requirements
- Contribute to team effort by completing assigned engineering activities
- Communicate progress and any issues to project engineer or manager
- Conduct verification tests to ensure product performance
- Maintain high quality and constantly improve processes
- Stay current with technology advancements
- Complete any other tasks as directed by management
