Job Details:
My client is a well known MEP Consulting Engineering firm. They are actively seeking a Mechanical Engineer with strong design and engineering in HVAC. Must have experience in HVAC design, production of construction documents, and follow-on construction services. Position includes performing field surveys, calculations, studies equipment selections, and cost estimates, and preparing drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with HVAC focus
- 4-7 years’ experience in HVAC system design with DoD, government, health care, laboratories and/or universities preferred
- Physical ability to conduct field surveys
- AutoCAD skills required; Revit/BIM experience a plus
- Prepare and present technical reports and presentations
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
