Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Electronics or related field required, BS degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
- Excellent understanding of electronics, computer, automation, and robotic technologies
- High analytical and troubleshooting skills
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role in the machine automation field
- Experience with programmable logic controllers and computer robotic application systems
Responsibilities:
- Build, assemble, and install robotic devices or systems
- Develop robotic path motions to maximize efficiency, safety, and quality
- Program complex robotic systems
- Evaluate and reprogram industrial robotic systems for maximum efficiency and quality
- Travel to customer sites for installation or service issues
- Assist with training of colleagues
- Support project management to ensure timely completion of projects within budgeted hours
