Job Details:
Controls Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Lead engineering project teams efficiently
- Work closely with Project Managers and stakeholders to evaluate project progress and ensure client satisfaction
- Design, develop, and document systems tailored to meet client requirements
- Identify deficiencies in existing Operational Technology (OT) networks and suggest enhancements
- Interact with clients to propose solutions and implement OT network and cybersecurity measures
- Mentor and collaborate with other engineers on project methodologies
- Travel to client sites for project implementation and testing
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in fields such as Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Robotics, Bioengineering, Industrial, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
- 10 years of experience working with control systems in manufacturing sectors
- Extensive knowledge of PLC, HMI, SCADA, DCS, and MES technologies
- Proven ability to successfully deliver projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Solid understanding of process control or manufacturing processes
- Proficient in MS Office
- Positive, professional attitude
- Flexible and cooperative work approach
- Willingness to work outside standard hours as needed
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to undergo drug testing and background checks
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer in Training (EIT) certification
- Certifications from industry technology partners
- Manufacturing cybersecurity certification such as GICSP, ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Expert, or equivalent
