Bridge Engineer
Attention all Bridge Project Engineers! Join a dynamic and established engineering firm with over 105 years of experience in transforming the world through innovative infrastructure design. At our company, we value our employees and their growth and development. We are seeking a talented and experienced Bridge Project Engineer to join our team in Raleigh, NC. Help us take on challenges, develop visionary solutions, and make a lasting impact on transportation projects for NCDOT and other state and municipal agencies.
Responsibilities:
- Perform engineering calculations and develop plans for bridge and structural projects
- Coordinate design and plan development with other technical disciplines
- Review design calculations, plans, and specifications for quality control
- Mentor junior staff and assist with technical proposals and marketing
- Travel as needed for in-state and out-of-state projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Licensed as an NC Professional Engineer
- Strong knowledge of NCDOT policies and procedures
- Experience with AASHTO bridge specifications and design software
- Hands-on experience with MicroStation/GEOPAK software
- NCDOT Design Build experience and OpenBridge Designer proficiency preferred
