SENIOR ARCHITECT / PROJECT MANAGER
New York City based designer of retail and hospitality properties has an opportunity for a New York licensed Architect to join their growing studio. The successful candidate will have at least ten years' experience in retail, commercial mixed-use and hospitality architecture. The role will mentor others while working on large commercial architectural projects. This is a great opportunity for a talented architect to advance within an expanding highly reputable firm.
Responsibilities:
Work in all project phases from programing through project closeout on schedule
Establish design parameters that balance the client's needs with the highest level of quality
Foster multi-disciplinary team coordination and interaction
Schedule the work and oversee its production
Conduct client meetings
Conduct team meetings
Balance design intent with budgetary considerations
Maintain client relationships and network for further business development
Assist principals in business development efforts to win new projects
Ensure each project complies with company quality standards
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from a NAAB accredited program
New York licensed Architect with the ability to become registered in other states
Minimum 7-10+ years of retail, commercial mixed-use and hospitality architectural experience
Demonstrated building construction technical experience
Proficient in Revit and MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent Verbal, written and graphic communications skills
Ability to lead and coordinate consultant teams
Ability to interact with owners and user groups
Strong organizational and leadership skills
SALARY: $100-130K
