Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (Plant based)
My client has an immediate need for a hands-on Mechanical Engineer with strong Maintenance experience to join their team. This person will be responsible for managing the maintenance activities, assist with capital improvement projects, etc.
**Must have expert level hands on expereince working with rotating equipment**
NEEDED!
- BS - Mechanical Engineering + 4 years of experience in a similar environment OR
- AS - Mechanical Engineering and 7+ years experience
- Very knowledgeable about rotating equipment (pumps, motors, industrial fans)
- Well versed with maintaining and improving CMMS systems
- Ability to organize and lead Kaizen events (implement lean manufacturing practices )
- Ideal person will comes from a heavy industrial environment (chemical, paper, energy sector)
- Very strong hands on maintenance experience is required (knowledgeable about hydraulic systems, piping & pumping systems, etc.)
- Ability to provide hands-on support with equipment breakdowns
- On call rotation included with this role
