Personal Lines Account Manager

4 Days in Office (1 Floating Day)

$60,000-$80,000

A top regional insurance broker is seeking an experienced Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and a deep understanding of personal insurance products. 

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and providing guidance on insurance coverage options.
  • Conduct regular policy reviews to ensure clients have adequate coverage and identify opportunities for cross-selling or upselling additional products.
  • Process new insurance policies, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Review policy documents for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain organized client files and electronic records, updating information as needed and documenting all client interactions.
  • Stay informed about changes in insurance regulations, industry trends, and product offerings to effectively advise clients and make recommendations.
  • Ensure prompt and courteous resolution of client inquiries, complaints, and service requests.
  • Proactively communicate with clients regarding policy updates, claims status, and other relevant information.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in personal lines insurance.
  • Strong understanding of personal insurance products, including homeowners, auto, umbrella, and other relevant coverages.
  • Proficiency in insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Active insurance license in the applicable state(s) is a plus.
