Senior Systems Engineer
Our client is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for a full time direct hire position. This is a remote position and any professional services experience is strongly preferred.
Senior Systems Engineer
Qualified candidates will have experience with most of the following:
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain on-premises systems including Active Directory, Exchange Server, and Windows Server.
- Configure and troubleshoot remote access solutions for secure user connectivity.
- Support and integrate cloud-based systems for optimal performance.
- Administer and optimize VMware environments for efficient resource allocation.
- Proactively monitor system health, identify potential issues, and implement preventative measures.
- Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
- Document procedures and maintain accurate knowledge base for internal reference.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong understanding of Active Directory, Exchange Server, Windows Server administration.
- Experience with remote access solutions (VPN, RDP).
- Experience with cloud-based systems and integrations.
- Proven experience managing VMware environments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
