Job Details:
My client is a top notch Mechanical Contractor and HVAC Commercial company. They are actively seeking Boiler Technicians. The individual fulfilling this role will leverage their knowledge of boiler systems and components to provide service and maintenance, technical support, start-up and commissioning of a variety of different types of heating systems. Candidate shall possess working knowledge of both construction and service processes utilized in fulfillment of their field operations.
HVAC Boiler Technician Essential Functions:
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring, relay logic, control/safety circuits, electronic boards, PLCs and displays
- Install, start-up and commission new and replacement boiler systems including expansion tanks, pumps, water level controls, etc.
- Calibrate and adjust burner controls to obtain optimal boiler/burner performance
- Interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, blueprints, and layouts
- Perform holistic diagnostic operations to determine opportunities for improve heating system performance
- Proactive response to customer needs by completing preventative maintenance, repair, and/or replacement of DDC and mechanical equipment as required in a timely and efficient manner
