Project Manager- Heavy Highway - Civil Construction
Road Construction- Heavy Civil Construction – Heavy Highway Construction- Site Construction
A premier heavy civil construction company located in Pennsylvania is actively seeking to add a Project Manager to the team. This is a full-time permanent staff role, competitive compensation package, PTO, 401k match and more.
Qualifications
- ~ (5) Five or more years of heavy civil construction experience; (Highway/Road Construction)
- PennDOT experience
- Understands means and methods for heavy civil construction projects: (i.e., highways, roads, bridges, sitework, paving, concrete work, etc.)
- B.S. degree in engineering, construction management, business, or related field a plus (not required)
- Professional credentials – PMP Certification, Engineer in Training (EIT), or Associate Constructor (AC) a plus, not required
- Understanding and agreement of the importance and necessity for safety on the work site
- Understands the sequencing of work and the strategy of creating effective project schedules
- Understands project cost controls, change order management, cost reporting, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, etc.
- Detail oriented
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Must possess effective communication skills written, electronic and verbal
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and related programs
