A premier heavy highway, road and bridge civil construction company is actively seeking to add a Superintendent with PennDOT project experience to the organization for a full-time permanent staff position. This role includes an understanding of heavy civil construction, along with the ability to interact & effectively communicate with field personnel, subcontractors, and team members in a professional timely and efficient manner. Heavy civil construction (Highways, Roads, Bridges) field understanding, accurate & efficient time management and staff management is required.
Requirements:
- Five (5) or more years’ experience in the construction industry with relevant heavy civil construction projects: (i.e., highways, roads, bridges, sitework, paving, concrete work, etc.)
- PennDOT project experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Computer proficient: Microsoft programs as well as experience with relevant industry specific software (e.g., Heavy Bid, Pennsylvania Turnpike Constructware, PennDOT ECMS, Heavy Job, Procore, Spectrum Construction Management Software, Earthworks, Sectionworks, Newforma, E-Builder, Primavera P6.)
