Automation & Controls Technician
Nationally ranked automation systems integrator seeks Automation Technician with over 3 years of experience in Allen Bradley PLC troubleshooting and SCADA Pack troubleshooting and maintenance.
The successful candidate will be sound technically and able to work in a field maintenance role.
Duties and qualifications:
- AAS degree in engineering technology or similar
- Experience configuration & set up control systems in an industrial setting.
- PLC's, HMI's, SCADA, VFD troubleshooting experience (programming is a plus)
- Allen Bradley/Rockwell, Schneider Electric, Wonderware, GE, Modicon, Siemens, FactoryTalk
- Configuration of instruments
- SCADA Pack
- ABB Total Flow
- Allen Bradley
- Reviews schematics/plans
- Testing and electrical terminations
- Troubleshooting, repair, adjust programming during start up
- Willingness to travel to customer sites within 100 miles of Oakville.
- Ability to work well independently in the field
- Client interaction skills
