Leader in New York City mechanical construction is seeking an experienced Project Manager.
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic team. As an HVAC Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing HVAC projects from conception to completion. This includes coordinating with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure successful project execution.
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple HVAC projects simultaneously, including new installations, retrofits, and maintenance contracts.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
- Procure necessary equipment, materials, and subcontractor services.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality control and compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the project team to resolve any issues or challenges that arise during construction.
- Provide regular project status updates to clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in HVAC project management, with a focus on commercial and industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and installation practices.
- Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
SALARY: $150-170K
