SALT Senior Tax Accountant
Attention indirect tax professionals! Are you looking for a new and exciting job opportunity? Look no further, as we have the perfect role for you.
We are currently seeking a talented Tax Advisory - SALT Consultant to join our team. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a leader in the state and local tax field, while utilizing your in-depth knowledge of corporate state income tax, indirect taxes, and state compliance. Additionally, you will have the chance to serve a national client base and work remotely.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of relevant Big 4 tax experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; Master's in Taxation/CPA/JD preferred
- Deep knowledge of state and local tax sales and use tax laws and regulations
- Experience with planning, restructuring, audit defense, and controversy work
- Familiarity with sales tax software applications such as Avalara and Vertex
- Ability to conduct tax research and multitask under deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
