Responsibilities:
- Identify potential opportunities, arrange meetings, initiate sales momentum, build estimates and proposals and close sales.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key Consulting Engineers, Mechanical Contractors and Building Owners with the intent to sell and grow our Building Management Systems Business.
- Collaborate and work with Consulting Engineers with writing Control Specifications leading to potential opportunities.
- Attend pre-bid project meetings, walkthroughs and client meetings to assess project requirements.
- Estimate and develop proposals for new installation or retrofit control projects and service contracts.
- Conduct technical presentations (lunch and learns) to perspective clients, consulting engineers, and contractors.
- Collaborate internally with the Administrators, Operations/Installation, Engineering and Service teams to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
- Manage our customers on every level with the highest level of integrity and sense of urgency.
Qualifications
- B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years’ previous sales experience and a proven track record of sales success in Building Management Systems or Control Systems, integration, etc.
- BACnet Control Systems Sales experience a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
