Job Details:
Instrumentation & Controls Technician
Award winner for top ten construction firm to work for in America seeks instrumentation technician with instrumentation calibration experience (transmitters, flow meters, pressure probes, temperature probes, level probes):
- Required: read & interpret schematics, drawings as well as comprehension of electricity & circuits
- Associate's degree or equivalent field experience
- 2+ years of field instrument technician experience troubleshooting, testing & calibrating instrumentation
- Control systems experience
- Install instrumentation & calibrate using different meters & tools
- Preventative & corrective maintenance
- Testing functions
- Experience working with PLC's, HMI's & SCADA systems including Rockwell/Allen Bradley, Wonderware, Siemens, GE Fanuc, Schneider Electric, Modicon
- Troubleshoot I/O
- Willingness to travel 25% to customer sites
- CCST and Fiber Optic certifications a plus
- Self-motivated; Ability to work well independently
